Look on the bright side...

In direct contrast to my last post, here's a reminder that winter can be gorgeous, not just full of slick roads and freezing winds. The snowstorm today was gorgeous - the way the snow rested on bare branches, and not on the road...









Of course, I had to unthaw after about 5 minutes outside, but it was peaceful and beautiful nonetheless. Then again, spring is my favorite season... hope it's coming soon!

Here comes the sun...

At least in my dreams! With winter dragging on, and blustery weekends like this, I can't help but long for the gorgeous Michigan summers that remind me why I love this state! So I dug up a few very warm, breezy photos from last summer to help you thaw out. It doesn't work quite as well as a cup of hot cocoa, but in a pinch, it'll do! Hope you're keeping warm...
